The PEAK Method
Unlock Your Performance Edge
Eliminate self-doubt, perform under pressure, and access flow on demand.
At RKPP (Russell Knox Peak Performance), the focus is simple:
helping athletes and high performers in any walk of life unlock what’s already within them.
High performance isn't determined by talent alone. Often, the biggest barriers to success are the subconscious beliefs, emotional patterns, and mental habits that quietly interfere when the pressure is highest.
Because of this, I developed the RKPP PEAK Method™, an evidence informed framework that combines hypnosis, cognitive behavioural principles, neuroscience, and real-world performance experience to identify and rewire those hidden patterns. The result is greater confidence, sharper focus, improved resilience, and the ability to consistently perform at your best when it matters most.
By accessing the subconscious mind, we can:
Remove limiting beliefs at their root
Reduce overthinking and internal pressure
Build automatic confidence and focus
Create consistency in performance
The result is not just improvement, but repeatable, reliable performance under pressure.
P – Profile the Peak State
Identify the athlete's best performance state. By creating a detailed performance profile, we build a blueprint of the state your brain and body perform best in. One that can be intentionally recreated rather than left to chance. Together we explore:
Your best performances and what made them different.
Your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physiology during those moments.
Confidence levels, focus patterns, motivation, and emotional state.
Environmental and performance triggers.
The routines, beliefs, and habits already supporting success.
E – Expose the Barriers
Using hypnosis, and guided exploration, we identify the patterns preventing consistent performance. Rather than simply managing these barriers, we work to understand where they came from, why they exist, and help the brain replace them with healthier, more productive performance patterns.
These may include:
Fear of failure or fear of success.
Perfectionism and overthinking.
Performance anxiety and pressure.
Negative self-talk and limiting beliefs.
Past performances that continue to influence confidence.
Unhelpful habits, emotional triggers, or subconscious protective responses.
A – Amplify the State
Once the barriers have been reduced, we deliberately strengthen the athlete's optimal performance state. Through guided hypnosis, mental rehearsal, visualisation, emotional conditioning, and subconscious learning, we reinforce the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours associated with peak performance.
This stage develops:
Automatic confidence.
Calm under pressure.
Laser-like focus.
Trust in instinct and skill.
Emotional regulation.
Flow state readiness.
Consistent pre-performance routines.
K – Keep it Active
Reinforce through recordings, cues, routines, and repetition. Real change comes from repetition. Neural pathways strengthen every time they are activated, which is why reinforcement is a critical part of the PEAK Method. Clients receive personalised resources that help maintain and strengthen their progress, which may include:
Personalised hypnosis recordings.
Daily reinforcement sessions.
Match-day or presentation primers.
Cue words and performance anchors.
Mental rehearsal exercises.
Practical routines that fit naturally into training and competition.
Find it. Remove obstacles. Strengthen it. Keep it.
The PEAK Method™ Philosophy
Every athlete already has the capacity to perform at their best. The RKPP PEAK Method™ helps identify the mental state behind those performances, remove the barriers that interfere with it, strengthen the conditions that support it, and reinforce those patterns until they become automatic. The result is greater confidence, improved consistency, and the ability to perform under pressure when it matters most.
PEAK Method™
The RKPP PEAK Method™ is a structured neuroperformance framework designed to help athletes consistently access their best performances. Rather than focusing solely on skills, tactics, or physical preparation, the PEAK Method targets the mental and emotional states that underpin performance. The process begins by identifying the athlete's unique peak performance state, those moments when performance feels natural, confident, focused, and effortless. It then explores and removes the internal barriers that may be limiting performance, such as self-doubt, fear of failure, pressure, or overthinking. Once the optimal state has been identified, it is strengthened through hypnosis, mental rehearsal, and targeted mindset techniques before being reinforced through personalised recordings and repeatable performance messaging.
The result is a practical, repeatable system that helps athletes build confidence, improve consistency, perform under pressure, and access their best when it matters most.
