Meet Russell
I'm the founder of Russell Knox Peak Performance (RKPP) and the creator of the PEAK Method™, an evidence informed neuroperformance framework that combines neuroscience, hypnosis, cognitive behavioural principles to help people unlock more consistent performance under pressure.
My background is a little different from many performance coaches. Before establishing RKPP, I spent more than 20 years in senior leadership roles across government and private organisations, leading teams through complex, high-pressure environments where calm decision-making, resilience, and consistent performance were essential. Alongside this, I've maintained a lifelong passion for sport, with a background in exercise science, competitive sport, and training alongside national-level athletes. Those experiences have given me an appreciation of both the science of performance and the realities of performing when expectations are high.
I'm a Certified Hypnotherapist (C.Hyp) and Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) Practitioner, and my approach is focused on creating lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms. Instead of only addressing issues such as anxiety, self-doubt, inconsistency, or overthinking, I work with clients to understand and change the underlying beliefs, emotional patterns, and habits that influence how they perform.
Every programme is tailored to the individual using the RKPP PEAK Method™, providing a structured process to identify performance barriers, strengthen confidence, develop effective mental habits, and build the ability to perform under pressure. Where appropriate, I also create personalised hypnosis recordings that clients can use between sessions to reinforce new patterns and support long-term change in training, competition, and everyday life.
Whether someone is preparing for a world championship, stepping into a leadership position, delivering an important presentation, or simply wanting to overcome anxiety and perform with greater confidence, my aim is always the same: to provide a professional, and supportive environment where they can develop the mindset and skills to perform with confidence when it matters most.
I believe peak performance isn't about adding more techniques or trying harder. More often, it's about removing what gets in the way, fear, self-doubt, overthinking, and limiting beliefs, so that the ability already developed through training and experience can emerge naturally under pressure.
